What to Bring
The following is a list of suggested items to bring. Should you have any questions regarding if something is or isn’t allowed, please contact the office at (270) 384-9548.
At no time may outside food be brought on property. Any and all food MUST be mailed in and go through either the United States Postal Service or any major courier or delivery service (FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.).
- Government issued photo identification.
- Court Orders – If you are court ordered, we will need a copy of your court papers. Also, if you have any legal proceedings that are to take place while you’re in treatment, we will need paperwork regarding those meetings as well as the name, phone number, and fax number for both the court you are to appear in as well as your lawyer (if applicable).
- Personal Items:
- Blankets, twin sheets, pillows
- Towels
- Toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss
- Hair dryer
- Notebook paper, pen/pencils
- Envelopes; stamps
- Bible (optional)
- Cosmetics
- Brush, combs, hair scrunchies, etc.
- Books (subject to approval)
- Alarm clock (without a radio)
- Hangers
- Money for canteen (optional; any amount accepted)
- Laundry deposit: $40 minimum
- Clothing – Because there is limited closet space, limit luggage to one suitcase, and one backpack.
Women - Dresses (no tube tops or spaghetti straps)
- Blouses
- Skirts
- Casual pants
- Blue jeans
- Shorts
- T-shirts
- Socks
- Casual and dress shoes (athletic, sandals, heels, flats)
- Flip-flops (for shower)
- Coat (during winter months)
- Jacket or sweater
- Appropriate sleepwear
- Undergarments (no thongs)
- House slippers
- Sweats
- One-piece swimsuit and cover-up (summer months only)
Men - Shirts (button front; polo; and t-shirts) both dress and casual
- Jeans
- Shorts
- Casual pants
- Casual shoes
- Dress shoes
- Belts
- Underwear
- Robe
- House slippers
- Flip flops
- Work clothes and shoes
- Coat (winter months)
- Jacket

- Swim trunks (summer months only)
NO CLOTHING WITH OFFENSIVE LOGOS, SLOGANS, OR DRUG INSIGNIA IS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY.
- PROHIBITED ITEMS
Any type of electronic device is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to mp3 players, iPods, iPhones, iPads, laptops, phones of any kind, music players of any kind, communication devices of any kind, cameras, and/or camcorders.
